Project Osprey is approximately 220km north of Mount Isa within the Carpentaria Minerals Province, one of the world’s richest mineral producing regions.
Important and world-class mines in the region include Mt Isa Copper Mine, George Fisher/Hilton Copper Mine, Century Zinc Mine as well as the Mount Gordon deposits – Mammoth, Esperanza and Esperanza south and Ernest Henry.
Prospectivity
Revolver is targeting Mt Isa style copper and has confirmed IOCG mineralisation is present within a number of already identified zones.
The re-interpretation of the regional geology achieved by using gravity, magnetic, and drilling data has shown the geological targets occupy the (faulted) contacts of the basaltic basement with sediments of the younger McNamara Group (termed Paradise Creek and Lady Loretta Formations).
Significant expenditure has been spent on direct in-ground exploration since 2016.
